Blanche Barrow, wife of Buck Barrow, who was Clyde Barrow’s brother (of Bonnie & Clyde fame). When she was arrested she had been living out of a car for weeks, and her husband was dying in a field from a bullet hole to the head. I love these mug shots.
John Giorno setting up the recordings for Dial-A-Poem.
I just finished reading this book. It’s the autobiography of Haywood Patterson, one of the nine black young train-hoppers known as the Scottsboro Boys who were falsely convicted of rape in 1931. Patterson spent nearly 20 years in Alabama jails before escaping in 1948. He wrote this book in 1950, and died two years later of cancer. I believe this a Czech version.
Backdrop of a Corvette on the New Orleans Lakefront with pretty girl.

Orson Welles hawking cheap wine.
This was the printing of The Outsiders that I read. The Ponyboy of my mind looked like the boy in the middle, who looks nothing like C. Thomas Howell. Got this image via this site, which I really enjoyed. Major props.
